Meet the Bear behind the plan
Hey everyone, my name is Berry. I'm named after my favorite food not the animal. I'm a black bear from the Front Range who got into arboriculture as a young cub. I have watched how the climate has weakened our forests, making them susceptible to all the different bark and borer beetles in our area. To save our state forests and my home, I launched this awareness program to help beat the beetle back and help steward our long-lived woody neighbors to a prosperous future. Together, we can BEAT THE BEETLE BACK. When not nerding out on trees I love to spend time with my wife and cub hiking, trying out all the local eateries, and playing frisbee golf.
