Meet the Bear behind the plan
Hey everyone, my names Berry. I'm named after my favorite food not the animal. I'm a black bear from the Front Range that got into arboriculture as a young cub. I have watched how the climate is weakening our forests to all the borer beetles in our state. To save our state forests and my home I launched this awareness program to help beat the beetle back and help steward our long-lived woody creature neighbors to a prosperous future. Working with our partners we can BEAT THE BEETLE BACK. When not geeking out on trees I love to spend time with my wife and cub hiking, trying out all the local eateries, and playing frisbee golf.
